Regretting my Ford vehicle purchase

Currently in the shop having entire transmission replaced. I owned my previous car for 11 years and 175k miles with NO transmission issues.

Pros

  • Fuel Economy: Better gas
  • Technology and Entertainment: Love the Syrius Radio
  • Seat Comfort: Kids love the space

Cons

  • Reliability: Already in shop for over a week and only purchased 3 months ago

FOUND ON ROAD DEAD

Everything I have ever heard about Ford is true.....this is the first Ford we have purchased .....never again !!! (Found On Road Dead ....Fix Or Repair Daily) Yup.

Pros

  • Visibility: It looked nice

Cons

  • Cost to Maintain: putting money money money into this car with only 37,200 Miles
  • Fuel Economy: very poor gas mileage - not what was stated and small tank - got way better mileage with our CRV
  • Reliability: we get an "engine malfunction" message and then the car turns off - pretty scary on I25! Of COURSE it is out of 36,000 mile warranty -

Horrible car, total headache!!!

Transmission problems the first week we had it then AC went out then windshield wipers motor quit. Majority of the time nothing works properly!

Pros

  • Seat Comfort

Which Ford Escape gets the best gas mileage (mpg)?

The most fuel-efficient Ford Escape is the 2015 Ford Escape SE which gets 23 MPG City and 32 MPG Highway.

It is important to remember factors such as driving style, weather conditions, and the use of features such as Eco mode can impact fuel efficiency. Fuel economy figures are based on EPA estimates for when vehicle sold as new. Fuel economy may vary for reasons like driving conditions and vehicle history. Unless specified, figures are for vehicles equipped with an automatic transmission. See fueleconomy.gov.
