Your address, name, or Social Security number may differ from the credit report you have on file. We're requesting the documentation below to verify and protect your identity.

Choose any (1) of the following documents below based on your type of residence. If you can’t provide the documents listed, call your local CarMax store for help. Handwritten information is not accepted. All documents must be dated within 30 days of purchase unless otherwise noted below.

Utility bills (gas, water, electricity, phone)
Monthly statement (mortgage, rent, homeowners association (HOA), bank, credit card, brokerage, or investment)
Closing disclosure from home purchase, medical bill, or either document below:
- Vehicle registration
- Voter registration

For military members' applications, use the address where you're stationed at the time you apply, not your permanent address or address of record.

Letter from tribal council providing specific details (directions or map) with the customer's place of residence.

Connection notification or confirmation of service from any (1) of the utility services listed. All documentation must include: your name, address, and date.
