Braking
can't beat the regen braking. add to that the back of steering wheel breaking button and you're good to go. the car will die before you'll need new brakes or rotors. linear braking all the way. so great for snow driving.
Power
300 lb -ft of torque offers up quick acceleration. it's basically an electric car with a gas generator. all the benefits of an electric car but with the option to drive on gas.
Reliability
hard to beat. great gas mileage. extremely low maintenance especially if you plug it in on a regular basis. oil changes every 2 years or so. no transmission. no brake pad changesand the list goes on. love this car. it's my third one. I'm not loyal to Chevy, but the volt is hard to beat.
Styling
I'm not a fan of the volt styling. but that's a personal thing. very generic looking, but it is what it is.
Visibility
visibility could be better. the A pillar is too much in the way when turning.
Weather Versatility
wished the volt was offered with AWD. it has too much torque to be only a front wheel drive car. have to be gentle when taking off or you'll burn rubber. AWD would have fixed that, not to mention it may have shaved another second off the 0 to 60 time

Easy access and comfortable to drive the car.

There may be one blind spot on the right side of the car. I use an extra attachment for the side mirrors to see the right side of my car.

Technology and Entertainment
If one is on the fence about buying an electric car outright, this car will ease your anxiety. Even after you read the owner’s manual, you will still be intrigued by what this car can do.
Ride and Handling
This car has the feel of a sports car, great pick up and an amazingly smooth ride.
Dashboard
My advice is to familiarize yourself with the dashboard before you drive it for the first time. There’s a lot of info there.
Interior Space
If one is over 6’2 and 200 lbs., you might feel a bit cramped. Also, even though there are 3 seatbelts in the back, a small child would need to be the middle passenger.
Cargo Space
Not much space there, but if no one’s in the back seat, divided seat backs fold down, giving additional space behind the driver and passenger.

little bigger would be nice
Fuel Economy
Averaging over 100 mpg when also using the plug-in electric (50 mile range on a full charge).
Cargo Space
The Volt is a fairly small car so the cargo space is limited.
Fuel Economy
Haven't noticed a real change in our electric bill. GREAT gas milage when using the fuel.
Cabin Noise
SO quiet!
Technology and Entertainment
Apple CarPlay is great!
Cargo Space
The trunk is a bit small.
