Fourth generation Kia Sedona
Kia completely redesigned its Sedona minivan for the 2015 model year, giving it more of a crossover SUV appearance, along with comfortable seating for up to eight passengers. Because minivans are designed for family use, the list of available driver-assistance features is long, including a surround-view camera system, front and rear parking sensors, and blind-spot monitoring. Availability is trim-based, so be sure to select one of the upper trim levels if this tech is important.
Like most minivans, the Sedona’s third-row seats fold into the floor, while the second-row seats slide, recline, and also fold away conveniently, unless you get the top luxury SX-L trim. In that trim, the second-row seats are not designed to fold.
At launch, the Sedona came with a six-speed automatic transmission but graduated to eight speeds in 2019. All model years carry the 3.3-liter V6 engine, offering solid power and performance.
