The GMC Savana can haul everything from mulch to cement, thanks to a range of stout engines. The new optional 2.8L has 181 horsepower, with 369 lb-ft of torque for heavy-duty work. The base 4.3L V6 makes 276 hp and 298 lb-ft. Turning it all the way up, the 6.0L V8 belts out 341 hp and 373 lb-ft. Look for the optional E-85 capability on this engine, for a huge savings per gallon.
2. Massive cargo space
Behind the driver’s seat, you’ll notice 283.6 cu-ft of cargo space. The optional spray-in bedliner or rubberized floors are more protective than the standard carpet, allowing you to use all this space as a mobile detail rig, plumber's tool supply, or welder's equipment storage. 3. Solid tow rating
Work sometimes requires big equipment, more than can fit in the back of a van.
