this is honestly a solid car 2017 Chevrolet Cruze

Pros

  • Cost to Maintain

I’m a door dasher full time so I go through gas like crazy, it cost me about 25 on 87 for a full tank every two days. albeit I put hundreds of miles on it in a day. and I’ve done my own mechanic work on it, really cheap parts everything was easily accessible except the cabin air filter you have to take apart the right side of the dash practically 🤣

  • Ride and Handling

thankfully, when I got the car it drove like new with 60thousand miles Initially on it. I’ve put 10smthin miles on it already and it still handles lovely!

  • Power

so it has a turbo charge engine attachment I believe that helps the car sprint after like 5seconds upon flooring it. if you don’t do basic maintenance it will take longer to do this and drive slower

Cons

  • Reliability

so I’ll be a hair of gas on it and still always make it to a gas station, and North Irving has horrible corporate roads near there office buildings and it beats up my car but it still looks great! I’ve had to do surgery on the skirt but I only chopped a piece off.. Again I drive for a living, so not bad if you consider my time on the road.

  • Dashboard

the dash has advanced features which if you have an iPhone you will enjoy 🥳

Really good little car. 2017 Chevrolet Cruze

      Pros

      • Cabin Noise

Quieter than some luxury cars. A lot of effort was made to isolate road noise from the cabin. I've driven many cars over my career and by far this is the quietest compact car ever built.

      • Fuel Economy

I've you drive very conservatively you can squeeze out 45 to 46 mpg. It gets it best mileage at around 45 mph, which happens to be the speed limits on most of the roads in my area. On the Freeway it gets 36 to 41 mpg depending on speed. Higher than 65mph the mpg drops around 36 mpg. Still not bad for a non-hybrid car. It has stop/start that works well and isn't very noticeable. it does make the car more fuel efficient.

      • Interior Space

It's like a tardis. It looks small outside, but inside feels like a full size car. Five average American adults can fit easily inside and drive anywhere comfortably. My model has heated rear seats and a 120v outlet for chargers. The door pockets hold quite a bit. The pull down center arm rest (when not occupied by a fifth passenger) is large and has large, sturdy, integrated cupholders. The rear legroom still amazes me how they were able to lay out the car. With the Front seats in Mid-position there is plenty of legroom. Much more than an airliner could offer you. Nearly as much as cars twice is size and 3 times the cost (Cadillac ATS/CTS of the same model year). It's a great car for families on a budget. It's got plenty of room for car seats and has the LATCH system to anchor them in properly.

      Cons

      • Power

Power is ample. That's to be expected with a car based on economy. The only engine options are the 1.4L turbo gasoline engine and a 1.6L diesel engine. Mine has the standard 1.4L gasoline engine. At 153 BHP it's not bad. But the car is heavier than it looks at around 3300 lbs curb weight. It accelerates fine. Has enough power to pass slow vehicles. But that's it. At 8.4 seconds 0-60 it's about average, but also much better than economy cars built 15 to 40 years ago.

Love this car! Great gas mileage. 2017 Chevrolet Cruze

      Pros

      • Fuel Economy

Pretty, fun to drive, roomy trunk.

      • Cost to Maintain

So far I have only had to replace the battery in my remote.

      • Seat Comfort

Love the seat warmer and ability to adjust the driver's side seat.

      Cons

      • Interior Space

People don't like to sit in my backseat due to limited leg room. Have been told the front passenger seat is not comfortable on long trips.

      • Technology and Entertainment

Wish I could turn off the feature that shuts engine off at lights. Live in heavy traffic area with lots of stops.

      • Styling

Front of car scrapes on driveway while backing out. Sits rather low to ground.

Best car ever…. 2017 Chevrolet Cruze

      Pros

      • Technology and Entertainment

I love the touch screen and apple car play!

      • Dashboard

I really like the digital speedometer and miles to empty gauge!

      Cons

Loved my Cruz Hatchback 2017 Chevrolet Cruze

        Pros

        • Ride and Handling

Rides and handles like a sports coupe.

        • Cabin Noise

Very low noise infiltration from the outside.

        • Cost to Maintain

I had absolutely no mechanical issues with this vehicle. Regular oil changes and tire rotations kept it running smoothly.

        Cons

        • Weather Versatility

Very low to the ground for lots of snow accumulation, but handles well in all other conditions.

        • Cargo Space

limited cargo space, but big enough for around town errands.
