A very car solid despite mileage, although it is not cosmetically perfect. it is both reliable and simple to maintain.

it’s essentially a Toyota. Lexus stands for luxury export US and it is a more luxurious Toyota.
Power
it has a 4.6 liter V8. plenty of power for passing on freeways or towing

the suspension is so smooth. whisper quiet , after all it is a luxury vehicle

no CarPlay or fancy electronics. Lexus seems to have missed this feature until almost 2022

Not the most room, but it's perfect for my 3 young kids.
Reliability
The Lexus GX will easily go beyond 300,000 (several V8s in this family have gone over 1,000,000 miles!) if properly maintained.
Visibility
This rides high off the ground and has lots of good visibility. Blind spot monitoring is a plus as well.
Cons
Fuel Economy
You'll be at the gas station a lot in this car. It's not economical. Plus it requires premium unleaded which costs more than cheap gasoline.
Technology and Entertainment
Technology in this car is dated by 5-10 years. I don't really care about technology as it is always going obsolete as it gets older.
Power
It has a little over 300 horsepower, which is inadequate for a 5300 pound SUV in my opinion. I can't imagine how anemic this truck would be if towing at the 6500 pound capacity.

Full time 4WD but also has selectable low speed 4WD as well
