I wish I would have gotten it sooner! 2013 Mazda CX-5

Pros

  • Seat Comfort

mostly because they are cloth seats. they are adjustable.

  • Dashboard

has everything on it. you want to know what the weather is?

  • Fuel Economy

    this was a must-have.

Cons

  • Interior Space

I haven't been able to dim or brighten the interior dash lights. I found where I can adjust the radio/navigation system.

  • Technology and Entertainment

I have been able to use them remote start once and that was at the dealer, and then I was standing right next to it. I even changed batteries.

you have to get creative to get anything to fit

  • Cargo Space

  • Interior Space

Cons

  • Fuel Economy

  • Braking

  • Power

the 2013 is a little underpowered compared to the 2014+. It's fine for me but doesn't have a lot of 'oomph' if that matters to you.

    Cons

Just what I was looking for 2013 Mazda CX-5

      Pros

      • Fuel Economy

Maybe not the best, but one of the better in its class

      • Ride and Handling

A very smooth ride, while not completely removing all feel of the road

      • Safety

I really appreciate the backup camera and the side lane warnings!

      Cons

      • Visibility

All the headrests and vertical roof/ceiling support struts make it a bit hard to look over your shoulders to check for cars to your left or right

Great car at a great value 2013 Mazda CX-5

      Pros

      • Fuel Economy

Good, 30-35 mpg highway, high 20s city

      • Ride and Handling

Nice smooth, quiet ride, very good handling for an SUV

      • Value

Great value. For a vehicle priced from the $18-25k or so, you get the value of a vehicle significantly more expensive than that.

      Cons

      • Power

Very few complaints, but with the 155 hp engine, it is somewhat underpowered. I would imagine the 184 hp model would be ideal in this regard, though gas mileage will be reduced. Personally, I'll take it slightly underpowered for the improved mileage.

      • Technology and Entertainment

Overall, the technology and entertainment features are excellent, and this really is a knit-picky complaint. The cruise control is somewhat jerky if you use the accelerate button to increase speed. If you manually increase speed, then set the cruise control, it works very well.

      Affordable Crossover 2013 Mazda CX-5

      Pros

      • Ride and Handling

        Very responsive

      • Value

More affordable than most cars in it's class

      • Power

Lot's of pickup for the size of the engine.

      Cons

Great car and mileage! 2013 Mazda CX-5

        Pros

        • Fuel Economy

        • Ride and Handling

        • Interior Space

        Cons

        • Visibility

Looking through rear-view mirror seen limited through back window.

        • Power

When using cruise control, car seems to be delayed in switching gears on inclines.
