Ride and Handling
A smooth and quiet ride. Handles turns easily.
Interior Space
When I'm too lazy to mount my bike rack, I can fit my bicycle in the folded down back seat (through hatch) without removing one of its wheels.
Cabin Noise
Don't have to blast the radio to hear over wind or engine noise
Fuel Economy
Averaging under 24 mpg city driving.
Technology and Entertainment
Unable to connect my cell phone to Android Auto. Even though phone is connected to car, have to open the Pandora app on my phone to operate through the app on the car.
Visibility
No fog lights
Weather Versatility
all wheel drive makes for a easy safe drive during rough weather
Styling
even the cheaper models still have a nice sleek look
Reliability
I have yet to have one leave me stranded…. we’ll maybe once when the clutch went out but it had a ton of miles at that time
Fuel Economy
being that it is all wheel drive the fuel mileage suffers. I had a Hyundai for that got roughly 30mph as my Subarus only get about 25-26mph
Cost to Maintain
As far as general maintenance, it’s about the same as any Asian car, but if one tire goes bad l, you can’t replace just one or two, you must do them all or you’ll risk damage to the transmission or differential due to the symetrical all wheel drive
Styling
compared to a lot of other manufacturers, Subaru is fairly basic. Not as many bells and whistles. However as a mechanic I prefer this, less electrical components to break
Fuel Economy
I can live with the better fuel efficiency.
Ride and Handling
Nice highway ride,.. it’s got pep.
Visibility
First time to have a car that sits low, visibility at night isn’t the best.
Fuel Economy
Great gas milage.
Power
It has great get up and go.
Technology and Entertainment
I love the carplay. It was one of the reasons for my choosing the Impreza.
Ride and Handling
I feel it catches every groove in the road when going above 65 mph. The wind tends to grab hold as well.
Cargo Space
Not a lot of cargo space but suffient for my needs.
Reliability
My Impreza is very reliable and has been a great car and workhorse for me.
Cargo Space
Great cargo space in the hatch, and more that I need with the rear-seat folded down.
Seat Comfort
The seats are very comfy and the driving position is very good for long drives.
Power
NA 2.0 liter engine makes peak 152 hp and 145 lbft torque, so it's not the fastest. But it is adequate for highway merging and most scenarios where acceleration is necessary.

Braking
Had to get the front brake pads replaced 3 months after purchase. Thankfully they were still under warranty at the dealership.
Technology and Entertainment
The sensor for the front passenger airbag does not work and as far as I can tell never did which means I was sold a car without working airbags.
Cost to Maintain
I’ve had the car for less than 6 months and I’m already having to make repairs.
Fuel Economy
averaging 33-35 mpg.
Styling
Nice enough looking car and wheels on the outside.
Weather Versatility
The AWD system is impressive in bad weather.
Dashboard
1990 called and wants its dash/display back... check that my 1990s cars had better dashboards/displays/gauges.
Technology and Entertainment
there is NONE. My and my wife's 2013 base model cars have more than this 2018.
Power
There is NONE.
