Although the car was very clean when I purchased it-it had a mismatched set of tires on it. Two of them were original EQ 45,000 mile tires that had not been rotated by the previous owner. Carmax refused to replace them but I purchased the car. It had 28,400 miles on it when purchased.
Cabin Noise
Because of the tire problem the old tires are worn incorrectly and noisy and cannot be rotated. Because of this I will have to purchase a new set of 4 tires. I am not happy about that.
Value
I am disappointed that Carmax did not do a better job of explaining the situation to me. I have purchased four vehicles from Carmax over the years and will reconsider where I purchase my next car.
