The best part of my day is driving to and from work - I enjoy the handling and speed - it's very close to an M2 but I live in Canada and needed all wheel drive. It's the best daily driver I've ever had. It's really a two seater and I have grown kids so it's just me and the Mrs. The only complaint is that the electric steering feels kind of dead dead center. The engine is a B58 and is reliable - strange to say for a BMW. I change the oil every 6000km or twice a year when changing over my tires. I'm not sure about the new style fro 2022 but can wholeheartedly recommend the 2017 to 2021 version. Great seats, simple infotainment. It just works well. I have gotten some speeding tickets but it's been worth it.

I was looking for a quick, small, quality car, preferably with 4 wheel drive. This car is perfect. Love it every time I drive it. It has a lot of power and is very quick when you want it to be, but can also be a comfortable and quiet cruiser if you want. Build quality seems great so far with no issues since I bought it. The best thing about the engine is the torque. It has near its peak torque from only 1500 rpm. I think I’ll own this car for a long time!

Pros

Power: Lots of it and masses of torque.
Ride and Handling: You can change the ride from Comfort to Sport to Sport+ at the push of a button.
Braking: Very strong brakes with excellent stopping power.

Cons

Fuel Economy: It can be a little thirsty. I’m averaging around 25 mpg so far. But you don’t buy an M car for its economy!

Beautiful, well made car. Solid, powerful, great design. Does 33MPG on most long trips. Fantastic car.

Pros

Ride and Handling: Once you drive it, you understand why they call it "The Ultimate Driving Machine"
Fuel Economy: Around 28+ city / 33 highway MPG. Combined with the enormous power in this small car, it's hard to beat.

Cons

Cargo Space: Less space than most vehicles. Rear seats are mostly for children, 4 adults would be very tight. Mine is a convertible, so the rear trunk has enough space for about 2 hard and 2 soft luggages.
