I put $15,000 down on a vehicle and it failed within a month leaving me and two boys without a vehicle, our belongings (still not recovered)

The most fuel-efficient BMW X3 is the 2025 BMW X3 xDrive30 which gets 27 MPG City and 33 MPG Highway.
