This vehicle is very comfortable and easy to drive. If you have driven any other late model Chevrolet you will feel right at home. It slightly longer than other SUVs in the same class, which gives the rear passengers more room (along with the adjustable seat which helps as well). I've seen other reviewers complain about lack of power, but the Equinox has plenty. I noticed a slight drop in power after filling it with $1,000 worth of IKEA furniture, but it still handled well on the interstate. If you're comparing it to a larger SUV with a powerful V6 (or even V8) then yes, it doesn't have that much power. It's all about perspective. Comparable gas mileage to other SUVs in the same class.

Pros

Ride and Handling: The ride is smoother than larger SUVs, but still firm enough to give you a solid, in-control feel.
Interior Space: Surprisingly roomy for a smaller SUV (in head room, leg room, and arm room) for both front and rear passengers.
Seat Comfort: Firm, but not too firm, contoured seats provide a comfortable, yet supported feel. Not as fatiguing or painful on long trips as some vehicles.

Outstanding fuel economy and great driving dynamics for an AFV. It's very quiet, even when the gas generator kicks in. You'll only hear the tire noise, and a little wind. In sport mode, this thing really has some guts. The only true con that I've found is rear seat headroom. This may be a factor if your rear passengers are over 6 foot. Rear leg room is fine with two 6-footers front and back. There's a lot of information you can pull from the infotainment system and instruments, so take some time to play with it an learn all the functionality. It's quite easy to use once you know how to navigate the menus. This car is the perfect combo for most people who will use this as their only car.

Fuel Economy: getting over 100 MPG with nightly charging
Ride and Handling: excellent for an AFV, and very quiet.
Styling: everyone comments on how beautiful it is. Crystal Red color is outstanding.
