Awesome luxury sports car!

for the price, i thought it provided more luxury(tech, material, style, etc) than a bmw or mercedes, all while keeping the interior interface driver-centric and comfortable

Pros

  • Technology and Entertainment: the model i had was loaded with all the tech, 360-parking view cameras / all-around sensors, heated and cooling seats. for the price, it was definitely better than bmw or mercedes
  • Ride and Handling: this car handles really well considering w its rwd. whenever you’re driving, it feels like the vehicle’s flying. not feeling like you’re getting shaken by the road’s conditions
  • Power: its a turbocharged v4 w max speed at 276hp stock, i didn’t get the chance to tune it. but it picks up quick. sport mode is exciting, quicker than many conventional sedans

Cons

  • Fuel Economy: by the owner’s manual and simple logic, “luxury vehicle needs luxury gas”. so with today’s rising gas prices plus req’d premium 91 gas on a car with turbocharged engine, expect that fuel economy is low and you’re going to spend money on gas
  • Interior Space: its the smallest of the genesis sedan lineup, so expect that vehicle’s prioritized the front row than back row. simple, if you’re tall, then ride in the front
  • Cargo Space: smallest of the genesis sedan lineup, so trunk space is not the largest. you. can definitely a good amount from shopping run, but don’t expect to fit large boxes/furniture in the back

bad car

uncomfortable seats, nav unit has wrong street name at times, hard to figure out the radio and temperature controls

Pros

  • Styling: it only looks good on the outside

Cons

  • Cabin Noise: too much noise on the highway, very small inside, air conditioner fan jams, brakes are very touchy tend to grab at the slightest touch
  • Dashboard: hard to figure out the dash controls radio button controls the map, seats uncomfortable
  • Interior Space: too small easy to hit head getting out of car, very poor service from the Hyundai/Genesis dealer. Carmax is the best
