Living in Florida, without my truck, I could use my 4-door hatchback as a great people mover as well as load really large objects into the rear with the seats folded down. Things like office chairs, 50" TV, etc. were no problem to load. I never missed my truck!

Pros

Fuel Economy: Great in town and open road fuel economy
Cargo Space: I sold my truck and never missed it with the cargo capacity my Mazda2 afforded!
Ride and Handling: Comfortable ride, excellent handling and a sporty feel to its quick response!

If you just need a reliable car that gets you from point A to B with good fuel economy, this is the car for you. It doesn't have a lot of the "quality" appearance and features one might want in a car you'll have for a long time, but it's reliable. I've gotten a few complaints that the back seat is uncomfortable and you can feel every bump in the road.

Pros

Fuel Economy: I can fill up for under $20 and it'll last me a week
Ride and Handling: Turns on a dime, picks up well for a basic car
Reliability: Never had any issues with it

Cons

Seat Comfort: The backseat is tiny and the headrests don't do much for my passengers
Safety: I always feel like if I were to get in a wreck, it would basically be over for me. As a person who does significant highway driving, it's a bit unnerving. Again, it's a small compact vehicle, so the pros also create some cons.

Perfect size, fits a lot when seats are down. Great gas mileage. Goes fast for a little car, and drives really smooth. cute dashboard, easy interface, and pretty good sound system
