What is the difference between shipping and delivery?
Shipping is when we move cars from one CarMax location to another. You can request shipping for most of our inventory to your preferred CarMax store. Depending on how far away the car is, there may be a shipping fee. Shipping fees are nonrefundable, separate from the cost of the car, and paid before the car ships.
Delivery is when we bring a car to your home or work after you've purchased it. Delivery is free within 60 miles of our stores in select markets. Check if it's available at your store.
