First generation Audi e-tron
When the Audi e-tron arrived in 2019, it was the German brand’s first mainstream electric vehicle offered in North America. Initially available exclusively as a traditionally styled SUV, the e-tron added the stylish Sportback to the lineup in 2020. The midsize e-tron featured an upscale cabin with elegant styling and ample room for both front and rear passengers. High-end features like leather trim, heated and ventilated front seats, and a range of advanced driver-assist features came standard on every e-tron. A 10.1-inch touchscreen display and available digital gauge cluster added to the high-tech vibe.
The e-tron was initially offered with a dual-motor electric drivetrain putting out 355 horsepower with the ability to temporarily boost output to 402 horsepower. The driving range was just 204 miles,
rather low by today’s standards. In 2023, the e-tron was offered with a second, more powerful drivetrain that bumped output to 429 horsepower and an EPA-estimated range of about 225 miles.Model highlights
