- The Expedition EL is available in a new trim called the XL.
- The Eddie Bauer trim has been discontinued for 2011.
- Expedition EL trims have been upgraded with Side Airbags, Fold-Away Third Row, 20 Inch Plus Wheels, and Audiophile Sound System as standard equipment this year.
- The Limited trim now comes with Tow Hitch as standard equipment.
- The XLT trim now comes with Parking Sensors, Third Row Seat, Tow Hitch, Navigation System, Satellite Radio Ready, and Sync System as standard equipment.
