If you need to haul people instead of stuff – or maybe some stuff in addition to people – the 2023 Ford Transit 350 is the van you want. This impressive people mover will cart around 8 to 15 people and is available in both XL and XLT trims. Plus, with available all-wheel drive and heated seats, you’ll be as comfortable in North Dakota as you will be in Florida. Chockfull of available tech, the Transit 350 is the most versatile Transit available with several length and roof-height options as well as an available dual rear wheel to max out capability. If you’re looking to max out cargo instead of people carrying, the Transit 350 still has you covered as it’s also available as a cargo van. Want a little extra everything? There’s also an HD option.
Even though the 2023 Ford Transit 350 has a three-row, eight-passenger option, you can max out your passenger seating with the five-row, 15-passenger configuration. Opting for the Transit 350 HD, you’ll have a gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR) of 10,360 pounds and an estimated max payload of 4,230 lbs – so you’ll have room for your team and their stuff.
Both cargo and passenger vans offer an available 4G LTE hotspot.
The up-level engine for the 2023 Ford Transit 350 is a 310-hp, 3.5L turbocharged V6, which delivers an extra 35 hp over the base naturally aspirated 3.5L V6. While you can't expect drag-race-fast off-the-line starts, you will get a zero-to-60-mph time of 8.7 seconds, which is solid for a large passenger or cargo van. If you want to go the distance with the more powerful engine, you can opt for the available 31-gallon gas tank, which adds an extra six gallons of fuel capacity.
Even though the 2023 Ford Transit 350 is an overlarge van, you still have some tech and lux-level options. Adding the Sync® 4 infotainment system gets you a 12-inch touchscreen as well as wireless Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ integration.
Whether you’re hauling people or cargo, the 2023 Ford Transit 350 can give you a second (and third!) set of eyes. At a basic level, both the cargo and passenger vans will include a rear camera. However, if you're looking for better visibility out the rear, the Transit 350 has it. It doesn’t matter if you’ve got cargo packed to the roof or the basketball team’s center blocking your view out the rear, with added tech like the available rear camera mirror, parking sensors, and 360-degree cameras, it's like you have eyes in the back of your head.
