Trailhawk:

5 reasons to buy the 2023 Jeep Cherokee

1. Standard four-wheel drive

Ideal when the going gets tough, all trims of the 2023 Jeep Cherokee have four-wheel-drive capability as standard. The Jeep Active Drive I system on the entry-level Altitude Lux trim is fully automatic and includes brake-traction control to help manage torque. The more advanced Jeep Active Drive Lock system on the range topping Trailhawk trim has a locking rear differential and raised suspension to properly tackle rougher terrain. The standard Selec-Terrain® traction management system offers different driving modes to suit the road surface conditions.

2. Two powerful engine options

The 2023 Jeep Cherokee offers a choice of two inline-four engines, but whichever one you choose, you'll enjoy the performance. The 2.4L Tigershark naturally aspirated unit of the Altitude Lux has 180 hp and 171 lb-ft of torque. If you need more power for highway or off-road excursions, opt for the 270-hp 2.0L turbocharged engine with 295 lb-ft of torque. Fitted exclusively to the Trailhawk trim, it can tow up to an estimated 4,000 lbs when properly equipped.

Both engine options of the Cherokee put their power down via a nine-speed automatic transmission.

3. Great technology

The onboard technology in the 2023 Jeep Cherokee is plentiful and easy to use. All trims have an 8.4-inch Uconnect® 4C NAV color touchscreen infotainment system with SiriusXM® Radio, SiriusXM Travel Link, and SiriusXM Traffic Plus, as well as voice control with wireless connectivity and navigation. There's also Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto connectivity, plus four USB ports to keep your passengers entertained.

4. Feature-packed comfort

Whether you're on the school run, a trip to the grocery store, or a highway excursion, the level of standard features in the 2023 Jeep Cherokee allows you and your passengers to get comfortable. A heated steering wheel and heated seats take the chill out of colder days, while eight-way power adjustment for the driver's seat caters to all shapes and sizes. Dual-zone automatic temperature control adds even more comfort.

5. Practical space

The 2023 Jeep Cherokee has lots of interior space to store all your essentials, and the 41.1 and 40.3 inches of front and rear legroom, respectively, should please your passengers. The rear seats fold 40/20/40 and have a pass-through to the trunk. When the rear seats are down, they reveal 54.7 cu-ft of cargo volume. Put them back up and there's 25.7 cu-ft of space, plus a hands-free powered liftgate for another practical touch.
