With the latest Aviator, Lincoln brings back a name it hasn't used since the early 2000s. 2020 marks the first year of the model, and the newcomer is a much more premium SUV than before. If you want a distinctive and luxurious-looking three-row SUV, the 2020 Lincoln Aviator's planted stance, tapering roofline, and chrome highlights will appeal.
Capable of carrying up to seven passengers, the 2020 Lincoln Aviator will cocoon them in comfort. Five trims – Standard, Reserve, Black Label, Grand Touring, and Grand Touring Black Label – offer up different levels of luxury. Cloth, leather, wood, and aluminum trim finishes combine with a rich array of standard features and available packages to make you and your passengers feel special. The Grand Touring may be the most luxurious standard Aviator, but you'll want to choose the Black Label models if you want the ultimate Aviator experience.
All trims of the 2020 Lincoln Aviator come with a feature-rich specification. Upfront, a 10.1-inch SYNC® 3 color touchscreen has Android Auto™ and Apple CarPlay® connectivity. To keep kids happy, an available 4G LTE Wi-Fi hotspot provides a connection for up to 10 devices, charged via smart-charging USB ports in the first and second seat rows.
All trims of the 2020 Lincoln Aviator come with a powerful engine. The 3.0L gasoline V6 engine is twin-turbocharged with an output of 400 hp. There is 415 lb-ft of torque which gives the Aviator plenty of get-up-and-go, and the strong performance from this engine enables a towing capacity of up to an estimated 6,700 lbs when properly equipped.
The standard gasoline V6 of the 2020 Lincoln Aviator packs plenty of punch, but if you want or need a little bit more, there is also a plug-in hybrid set-up. Standard on the AWD top-line Aviator Grand Touring trim, the 494-hp twin-turbocharged V6 has a battery-powered electric motor to help provide up to 630 lb-ft of torque and make easy work of its estimated 5,600 lb towing capacity when properly equipped.
