Great car at a great price!

I love driving this car. I can see everything around me very well. Love the back up camera, the large screen on the dash and the hands free phone. The only drawback has been getting used to an SUVs ...

Fantastic car for fair price

This is a fantastic car, drives well and everything from the sound to the backup camera work flawlessly. Great suspension and excellent to bring on long car rides.

Pros

  • Braking: Great control over the car
  • Ride and Handling: fantastic handling, very responsive and I always feel in control. This is the reason I bought the car
  • Seat Comfort: love the lumbar support - really easy to do long drives in

Cons

  • Fuel Economy: Wish it was better, but it's perfectly respectable given the price point

Affordable to own, yet not without problems

Low cost to insure, lots of space and good gas mileage for an SUV. That said, you do get what you pay for and can tell where certain things are cheaper than what they could have been.

Pros

  • Styling: Ford styling from the 2010s is among their best since the 90s, I love it
  • Value: I'm saving $400/year in insurance costs for my Escape vs. the car it replaces.
  • Seat Comfort: The seat is as comfortable as laying in a bed.

Cons

  • Cabin Noise: The interior is definitely CHEAP. You will hear rattles and squeaks ALL THE TIME.
  • Reliability: I am already having problems with the A/C, has been in and out of the Ford dealer under warranty.
