Sold my Prius Prime, Honda Ridgeline and researched the new Maverick Hybrid. When deciding on this vehicle, orders had already ended. So searched for used. Lucky that Carmax had the 1st edition Lariat hybrid. Jumped on it. Small compared to some other smaller trucks but suits all my needs. Tough decision selling my 5th owned Prius and Honda but the options in this model compared to both vehicles helped my choice to get this vehicle and Carmax had the best choice. Not thrilled on shipping but I had to have it. Nothing to talk bad about this truck. Carmax McKinney staff took care of me efficiently.

Pros

Fuel Economy: Hybrid
Technology and Entertainment: Has all the items I was use to in luxury.
Styling: Looks very modern and with the extras in Lariat edition.

Cons

Braking: A bit touchy

Reliable, easy to drive and park, great on gas mileage.

Pros

Fuel Economy: Excellent MPG.
Value: Great when you need a pickup but still want to park it in the garage.
Ride and Handling: It's a pickup but rides like an SUV.

Seat Comfort: Seats need extra cushion.

Great starter pick up for anyone, like me, who is used to driving cars. It's not too big but it's big enough to make you feel like your driving a truck. The turbo gives it a great acceleration. The only issues I've found are minor things.. like it's a 2022 but doesn't have wireless Carplay/Android Auto, auto wipers or blind spot monitors. It DOES have auto high beams though, which I didn't even know what a thing, but now I can't live without.

Pros

Ride and Handling: Handles nice and rides smooth.
Power: The turbo really helps acceleration. Especially when in Sport Mode
Fuel Economy: I was surprised by the mpg. I refuel my truck every 8 days.. which is about the same for my Honda Civic.

Cons

Technology and Entertainment: No wireless CarPlay/Android Auto, no blind spot monitors, and no auto wipers.
Cargo Space: The bed is 4.5 ft. Which I think is half a foot smaller than other "small bed" trucks.
Dashboard: It's like they put the first generation, 2011, touchscreen and dashboard technology package in it. Not what I expected in a 2022 vehicle.
