The 2023 Audi e-tron S is part of the first e-tron generation, which was introduced in 2019. It was Audi’s entry into the electric vehicle scene but it was only right that the German carmaker produced the e-tron S too, a more powerful and sporty version that takes advantage of the quick acceleration of the electric powertrain. While the 2023 model is mostly unchanged from the previous model year, it does get newly standard LED interior lighting and a carbon-fiber trim.
This is a luxury SUV with plenty of space for your friends, family, and their things. You’ll get 40.8 inches of legroom to stretch out up front with almost as much in the back, too, at 39.1 inches. On top of this, you can carry up to 28.5 cu-ft of stuff in the trunk, which is plenty for your daily needs. If you need more, though, you can fold the rear seats for a total of 56.4 cu-ft of space.
Audi has tried to balance performance with range and the result is an EPA-estimated 208 miles from the 95 kWh battery on a full charge.
As well as a long list of driver aids, the e-tron S comes well-equipped as standard. The base trim is the Premium Plus and has everything you might need, from adaptive air suspension — which adjusts ride height, comfort, and handling automatically — to a 16-speaker Bang & Olufsen® sound system. If you want a little more tech and some extra luxury touches, look out for the 2023 Audi e-tron S Prestige, which adds dual-pane acoustic glass for a quieter ride, a head-up display, and classy soft-close doors.
You’ll enjoy how comfortable the ride is in the 2023 Audi e-tron S. The adaptive air suspension does a great job adjusting to different road conditions, ensuring you get the smoothest driving experience possible. Even though this SUV has serious performance credentials, the ride feels refined. This makes it a great daily driver.
The e-tron S takes things to the next level with 496 hp from the triple motor setup (one motor for the front wheels, then individual motors at each rear wheel). This propels the e-tron S from zero to 60 mph in 4.3 seconds — not bad for an SUV. Paired with the adaptive suspension that can tighten up as needed when you’re putting the e-tron through its paces, you have a practical performance SUV.
