Audi put a huge amount of effort into the aesthetics of the 2023 Q7—not just on the outside but throughout the interior too, which is refreshing in a sensible seven-seater family vehicle. The styling throughout is sleek and handsome, with even the hard plastics within the trim looking classy and cool. The position of the seats also allows for a vast view of your surroundings, which makes for a more pleasant ride on those picturesque road trips.
As with many newer vehicles, the 2023 Audi Q7 embraces the modern driver with features that are both technologically advanced and easy to use. There are two touchscreens—one that includes all of the entertainment, navigation, and smartphone-related features and offers the pleasantness of haptic feedback, while the other manages climate control and handwriting recognition, which can be used by the navigation system to decipher written addresses. Additionally, there are four USB ports, Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ connectivity, and a wireless device charging pad.
The 2023 Audi Q7 has the notable honor of being supremely comfortable. The seats are plush with a high level of texture (even in the third row, despite lacking the vents that the front two rows enjoy), and the front seats are eight-way adjustable. Four-zone climate control spreads air beautifully throughout the vehicle, while the wind and road noise outside are kept to a minimum thanks to the attention to detail Audi has put into the interior materials. When looking for a large family vehicle, comfort and ride enjoyment are always priorities—and the 2023 Audi Q7 delivers.
The two lower trims—Premium 45 TFSI Quattro and Premium Plus 45 TFSI Quattro—benefit from an exciting enhancement for 2023. As of this year, the engine for the two 2L 45 TSFI trims of the 2023 Audi Q7 is now a four-cylinder managing 261 hp, which is more than enough for most people's needs. It achieves an EPA-estimated 21 combined mpg, and can reach zero to 60 in 5.6 seconds.
As expected for a vehicle of this size, the 2023 Audi Q7 is generous with its cargo space. It stands to reason that anybody looking for a car with seven seats is going to prioritize space. After all, there's no point in a family car that has the dimensions of the Q7 if there's no room for sports gear, luggage, or weeks' worth of groceries. Fortunately, the 2023 Audi Q7 comes with 14.2 cu-ft of cargo space behind the third row, and folding that row gives you 35.7 cu ft. Plus, if you take it further and drop the second row too, you achieve 69.6 cu-ft of space–enough for even furniture or bikes to fit. There are also pockets and bins throughout the vehicle, as storage has been made a priority.
