5 reasons to buy the 2022 Audi Q7

1. Engine performance

Two powertrain options deliver smooth acceleration, firm handling, and the all-wheel-drive chops to hook up and haul when the need arises. The Premium and Premium Plus models are motivated by a turbocharged 2.0L four-cylinder engine that's good for 248 hp, 273 lb-ft of torque, and an EPA-estimated 22 mpg combined.

Powering the Prestige trim as standard (and available on the other two trims) is a 335-hp, turbocharged 3.0L V6, equipped with a mild-hybrid system for energy recuperation when braking and coasting. Both powertrains are paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission. When properly equipped, this SUV can tow up to an estimated 7,700 lbs with the 3.0L V6 and up to an estimated 4,400 lbs for the 2.0L base engine.

2. Plenty of options and packages

The 2022 Q7's three trim levels are complemented by packages and options that can help you find the used model to fit your personal style and requirements. Choose a Q7 Premium Plus or Prestige trim with the Black Optic package for a stealth-like black exterior trim and 20- or 21-inch black-painted wheels.

Look for a 2022 Q7 with the Luxury package for a more comfortable ride, massaging functionality for the front seats, upgraded leather upholstery and a faux suede headliner.

3. High-spec tech

The 2022 Q7 is generously equipped with standard and available technology. Want a helping hand in the mall parking garage? Front and rear parking sensors are standard across all three 2022 Q7 trims. Pick the Premium Plus or Prestige models for adaptive cruise control, which is a great feature for long commuter journeys and road trip vacations.

Staying connected to your life online is easy too. The 2022 Q7's Apple Carplay® and Android Auto functionality and available Wi-Fi hotspot hook you up to your favorite apps and smartphone features via the infotainment touchscreens

Bluetooth® connectivity, steering wheel controls, and voice-activated commands are standard too, connecting you on the move.

4. Premium base trim

If you're shopping for an SUV with luxurious features, the 2022 Q7 Premium base trim has a superb roster of high-end features that might otherwise only feature on higher trims. If elevating your ride experience is the goal, the Premium trim comes standard with a panoramic sunroof, leather upholstery, and a 10-speaker audio system for pitch-perfect sing-alongs. For smooth moves in the executive parking lot, keyless entry and ignition are useful features, while the heated front seats are a welcome comfort on chilly winter mornings.

5. Useful rear rows

This seven-seater SUV is ready for the journeys you make with friends and family. Seating your youngest companions is easy, thanks to the 2022 Q7's five full sets of LATCH fixtures — three across the second row and two in the third row. When you need to make additional room for everyone's vacation essentials, that third row power-folds down to reveal 35.7 cu-ft of space to play with, a nice jump up from the standard 14.2 cu-ft in the trunk.
