5 reasons to buy the 2014 Land Rover LR4

1. Spacious Cabin

Land Rover does not want you to leave anyone behind on your adventures, and the LR4 offers comfortable seating for up to seven. The LR4 offers stadium seating to ensure everyone has unspoiled views with generous head, leg, and shoulder room. For a more flexible cabin, the LR4 is available with 35/30/35 folding second-row seats to help accommodate whatever you have to pack.

2. Supercharged V6

New for 2014, the LR4 comes standard with a 3.0L supercharged V6 engine. This powerful engine produces 340 horsepower and 332 lb-ft of torque. This engine offers plenty of power regardless of your needs. Paired with its eight-speed automatic, the LR4 is capable of reaching 60 mph in 7.7 seconds and has an estimated towing capacity of 7,716 pounds when properly equipped.

3. Start/stop technology

Being a luxury vehicle, the Land Rover LR4 is available with a range of technology. Some of that tech is aimed at reducing trips to the pumps, including an intelligent stop/start system. The EPA estimates the LR4 can achieve up to 19 mpg on the highway.

4. Parking assistants

You might assume that parking a vehicle as large as the Land Rover LR4 could be a handful, but Land Rover offers the LR4 with equipment to make it as easy as possible. Those available features include reverse traffic detection, using radars to warn you of vehicles approaching from either side. The LR4 is also available with a rearview camera and a surround camera system, creating a near 360-degree view around the LR4 to assist with low-speed maneuvering.

5. Ready for snow

Given its off-road capabilities, it should come as no surprise that the LR4 is well-equipped to keep you confident in snow and cold weather. The LR4’s Terrain Response® system offers five settings for various conditions, including snow, providing you with grip in the slippery stuff. In addition to traction, the LR4 offers features to keep you comfortable, including a heated steering wheel and heated front seats.
