The 2023 BMW 540 is a powerhouse. The sedan comes standard with a 3.0L TwinPower turbocharged six-cylinder engine that produces 335 hp and gets a bit of extra power from a 48-volt electric motor. The might of the engine is matched by the might of the on-board technology. Smartphone connectivity and a large touchscreen make keeping connections easy, while available driver assist features including blind spot monitoring and lane departure warning are standard.
