Near-M performance

The 2023 BMW M440 may not be a true M model, despite having an “M” in its name, but it does a great job of bridging the gap between BMW’s base 4-Series and the wild M4. The 2023 M440 has a potent 3.0L turbocharged inline-six-cylinder engine that pushes 382 hp and 369 lb-ft of torque out to all four wheels. This adds up to a zippy zero-to-60 acceleration time of just 4.3 seconds in the coupe model or five seconds in the convertible model.

5 reasons to buy the 2023 BMW M440

1. Handling meets comfort

BMW continues to do a fantastic job of balancing responsive handling and a comfortable ride. The 2023 M440 is sure to please you in this area. It features a stiff chassis and standard all-wheel drive that keep it glued to the road. Still, its suspension does a wonderful job cushioning bumps in the road and minimizing vibrations, giving you a soft and peaceful daily commute — when you want it, that is.

2. Comfortable and supportive front seats

The 2023 BMW M440 takes comfort to a new level with its fantastic front seats. They deliver soft support for long-haul comfort while adding just the right bolstering to keep you in place when carving up a windy road. These seats also include lots of adjustability, so finding a comfortable driving position is simple. And with 41.8 inches of legroom, they are suitable for various shapes and sizes.

3. Features galore

As a luxury model, the BMW M440 has to meet certain expectations you’ve set in terms of standard features and options. The 2023 M440 won’t disappoint you with its huge collection of standard features, such as synthetic leather upholstery, moonroof, auto climate control, automatic headlights, touchscreen infotainment system, and more. Plus, if you need even more features, the M440 also has a wide range of standalone options and packages to dress it up.

4. Updated infotainment system

In 2023, BMW updated the entire 4-Series lineup with the new Drive 8 infotainment system. This brings in an even more intuitive use interface and a massive 14.9-inch touchscreen with voice recognition. Also included is standard Android Auto and Apple CarPlaycompatibility and a 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster.

5. Three body styles

The BMW M440 has a wide range of flexibility in body styles to meet your needs. If you prefer a sleek and sporty body, the base M440 coupe is a great option. If you’re craving the wind in your hair, opt for the M440 convertible. The Gran Coupe is the way to go if you want the convenience of four doors with the sporty coupe look.
