2016 BMW M6 review

1. Big V8 power 

The "M" stands for "motorsport," and BMW has decades of racing experience behind its engineering. Your 2016 BMW M6 has a massive turbocharged 4.4L V8 engine producing 560 horsepower and 502 lb-ft of torque. That means more power for your next back road run or highway cruise. 

2. Convertible life 

Every trip, whether a long weekend or daily commute, is better in a convertible. The 2016 M6 has a well-insulated convertible top to help keep interior noise down on the highway. The glass rear window can also rise to provide a wind blocker when the top is down. Cargo space isn't all that impacted, either. There's 12.4 cu-ft of space with the top up (10.6 cu-ft when down), which is quite close to the coupe's 13 cu-ft. 

3. Solid tech 

Every 2016 BMW M6 gets standard technology built in. You'll find Bluetooth^® phone and streaming audio, a 10.2-inch display, a rearview camera, a navigation system with voice commands, and a 16-speaker surround-sound audio system. If you need more, check out the Driver Assistance Plus package, which includes driver aids like a lane-departure warning system, a frontal collision warning, a blind-spot monitor, and an upgraded camera system. 

4. Great handling too 

There are tons of great standard performance features beyond that big engine. You'll get 19-inch alloy wheels, adaptive suspension dampers, and impressive brakes. Click the features filter, and you may find the optional Competition package. It has 40 additional horsepower, an upgraded exhaust system, lightweight alloy wheels, and revised tuning for the suspension, steering, and rear differential. 

5. Luxury upgrades 

A host of luxury and convenience packages are available for the 2016 M6. Check out the Executive package, which has a heated steering wheel, a 16-speaker Bang & Olufsen^® audio system (coupe only), and a power rear sunshade (also coupe only).
