Luxury with a large battery pack

The 2018 Cadillac CT6 Plug-in Hybrid allows you to have the best of both worlds: a large, comfortable sedan that recalls the glory days of American-made gas guzzlers, but that packs a much lighter punch at the pump. The car is propelled by a 335-hp hybrid system that consists of a 2L turbocharged four-cylinder engine, paired with two electric motors powered by an 18.4 kWh lithium battery pack. The car comes standard with top-of-the-line specs, including a heads-up display and a panoramic sunroof. You’ll also have a host of driver-assist features at the ready.

5 reasons to buy the 2018 Cadillac CT6 Plug in Hybrid

1. Ease into electric power

Not sure whether you’re ready to take the plunge into electric car ownership? The 2018 Cadillac CT6 Plug-In Hybrid gives you plenty of driving options to ease the transition. The CT6 hybrid can reach speeds of up to 78 mph using just its electric motor, and has an EPA-estimated 31-mile all-electric range when fully charged.

You can even use the available “hold” driving mode to conserve battery power if you’ll need it later in your trip.

2. Quick acceleration

With the standard setup of electric motors and a 2.0L turbocharged four-cylinder engine, the 2018 Cadillac CT6 has 335 hp. The dual electric motors give the sedan an advantage coming off red lights. With the standard 335-hp hybrid system, the 2018 CT6 hybrid can accelerate from zero to 60 mph in just 5.2 seconds.

3. Luxury features

The 2018 CT6 Plug-In Hybrid is positioned near the top of the CT6 lineup, so it is full of high-end features that come standard. Each 2018 CT6 hybrid has a panoramic sunroof, heated front seats, a heads-up display, remote start, and more. Whether you’re picking up parents for a fundraiser, or bringing colleagues to a work lunch, the CT6 Hybrid is sure to impress.

4. Lots of space

You won’t feel bad asking your friends or tall teenagers to ride in the back seat, thanks to the impressive space in the 2018 CT6 Hybrid. The sedan has a generous 46.4 inches of legroom in the front, and 40.4 inches in the rear. The standard rear seat infotainment screens will help keep passengers engaged on longer drives or during unexpected traffic jams.

5. Standard driver assist

Like to have technology on your side? Each 2016 Cadillac CT6 Plug-In Hybrid comes standard with Cadillac’s Driver Awareness and Convenience Package. That includes navigation, lane-keep assist, rear-cross traffic alert, blind spot monitoring, and more. Automatic high beams and rain-sensing windshield wipers make driving at night or in bad weather a cinch.
