To say it's tech-heavy is actually an understatement. The 2023 Mach-E has a massive 15.5-inch center touchscreen that controls every aspect of the vehicle via the latest SYNC® infotainment system. That's in addition to a 10.2-inch digital drive cluster right in your sight line. You can even see all the critical apps from your phone on the central vertical screen with built-in wireless Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ connectivity. The Mach-E also has a suite of available advanced driver aids like adaptive cruise control, lane centering, and a lot more.
If you think driving an electric vehicle is boring, the Mach-E earns its Mustang badge with a choice of performance levels. Even though it's a practical SUV, the Mach-E is properly quick, the base Select will hit 60 mph in 5.8 seconds while the performance-focused GT will hit that mark in just 3.8 seconds (according to the manufacturer, when new). Go for optional upgrades like the MagneRide® suspension system and even Brembo® brakes and you'll find that this isn't just a one-trick pony.
Not only can you choose your level of performance, but you can also pick the range that best suits your needs. Spend most of your time close to home? You can go with one of the lower-range options like the base Select, which has an EPA-estimated 247 miles of range on a full charge.
The 2023 Mach-E has a generous 29 cu-ft of space behind the rear seats and up to 60 cu-ft with the rear seats folded. So that trip to the home improvement store or grocery run will be a cinch. That's not all, though, there is an additional 4.7 cu-ft in the front trunk— or 'frunk'. Ford even added a drain at the bottom so you can fill it up with ice and use it as a cooler. It's tailgating time with your Mach-E.
The Mach-E won't blend in with every other SUV out on the road. Ford managed to capture the essence of the Mustang with an aggressive front and rear on the Mach-E. The rear features sequential tri-bar taillights, just like on Ford's Mustang coupe and convertible. Plus, LED headlights up front light the way on the 2023 Mach-E. There are also eight striking colors to look out for, including optional shades like Rapid Red or Cyber Orange.
