5 reasons to buy the 2022 Hyundai Nexo
1. Unique powertrain benefits
Planning a green-conscious lifestyle change? The Hyundai Nexo SUV pairs a hydrogen fuel cell with an electric motor to deliver plenty of pleasing driver benefits. The 161-hp onboard electric motor offers exhilarating instant torque, while the hydrogen fuel cell will get you on the road faster, and keep you there longer. When it's time to fill up, head to a hydrogen station, and you'll be able to refuel in under five minutes. Once on the road, you'll get up to 380 miles of range from a full tank.
2. The latest infotainment tech
When staying in the loop matters, the 2022 Nexo comes through with connected calling, destination management, and more. A 12.3-inch touchscreen is integrated into the main dash allowing for easy access to the Nexo's built-in navigation and six-speaker audio system. If your SUV doubles as your office, Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ smartphone integration will keep you connected to all-important updates. Traveling with your team? Dual USB ports and a wireless charging pad are standard features that allow everyone onboard to stay dialed in too.
3. Attractive interior
A cabin this plush is hard to resist. A slick center console with flush panels and slim buttons flows smoothly between the front dash and the center storage armrest. Heated front seats and dual-zone automatic climate control provide for perfect conditions whatever the weather outside. This five-seat interior uses conscious materials too, including a headliner woven from bamboo, carpet fibers derived from sugarcane, and soft-touch vegan-leather upholstery. Choose the Limited trim and you'll also get an extra-large sunroof and upgraded sound system.
4. Driver assistance
From pedestrians and bikes to motorbikes and trucks that share our freeways, the 2022 Nexo has some great standard driver aids that support you out on the road. The base trim's forward collision mitigation with selective automatic braking can make you aware of what or who might be on your path. Highway commuters will appreciate the blind-spot warning and adaptive cruise control features too, assisting you in monitoring other drivers' movements. And should you dread those mall parking garage spaces, fear not, the 2022 Nexo Limited trim has an automated remote parking feature that does it all for you.
5. Spacious utility
The 2022 Nexo has flexible cargo capacity for trips that include dog crates, golf clubs, home supplies, and more. As standard, there's 29.6 cu-ft of fixed storage space behind the second row. Flip down the 60/40-split folding rear seats to expand that to 56.5 cu-ft, enough for white goods collection or last-minute moving day boxes. The Limited trim Nexo adds roof rails for more transportation options, while its hands-free liftgate makes any hands-full-with-shopping situation a whole lot easier.
