XJ R-Sport and XJL Portfolio trims have a supercharged 3.0L V6 engine that makes 340 hp and 332 lb-ft of torque, while XJ and XJL Supercharged trims have a supercharged 470-hp 5.0L V8 engine that makes 470 hp and 424 lb-ft of torque. With the V8 engine, the Jaguar XJ can sprint from zero to 60 mph in 4.9 seconds (according to the manufacturer, when new).
