Come across the base version of the 2016 Lexus GS 350, and you'll be pleasantly surprised by how well-equipped it is. On the inside, you'll find standard leather upholstery, eight-way power front seats, driver seat memory functions, a power tilt-and-telescoping steering wheel, matte wood trim, and ambient lighting. Exterior features include 18-inch wheels, LED headlights, heated auto-dimming side mirrors, and a sunroof.
It's pretty well-equipped from a technology perspective as well. You'll find Bluetooth® phone and audio connectivity, an impressive 12.3-inch screen with navigation, a rearview camera, and a 12-speaker surround-sound audio system. If you want more, look for great standalone options like a head-up display and a premium 17-speaker Mark Levinson® sound system.
With a standard 3.5L V6 engine that produces 311 hp and 280 lb-ft of torque, the 2016 GS 350 has all the passing power you'll need. It comes with standard rear-wheel drive and an eight-speed automatic transmission. All-wheel-drive is optional, and gets a six-speed automatic.
Check out the optional Premium package if you want even more comfort and convenience. It includes adaptive headlights, an adaptive suspension, passenger seat memory functions, LED foglights, larger 19-inch wheels, upgraded leather upholstery, 14-way-adjustable front seats, glossy interior wood trim, rear-seat climate, and audio controls, manual rear door sunshades, and wood-trimmed steering wheel.
The 2016 GS 350 can ramp up the sport in this luxury sedan. The F Sport package is an excellent option since it has everything in the Premium package and a host of performance upgrades. You'll get package-specific 19-inch wheels, sporty exterior styling and interior trim, a rear spoiler, a sport-tuned adaptive suspension, a variable-ratio steering system, upgraded brakes (RWD models), and 12-way-adjustable sport seats with four-way power lumbar.
