The 2017 Lexus GS has a host of great standard equipment and various packages to choose from. For 2017, there are two trim levels, including the base and the F Sport, which becomes a trim level this model year with performance upgrades inside and out. Both trim levels are available with optional all-wheel-drive. The GS has a powerful standard 3.5L V6 engine producing 311 horsepower. Beyond the great standard features, there are lots of upgrades available. You can search our lots for a variety of comfort and convenience packages to heighten your experience.
1. Standard V6 power
The 2017 GS 350 gets a standard 3.5L V6 engine under the hood, producing 311 horsepower and 280 lb-ft of torque. It comes with standard rear-wheel drive and an eight-speed automatic transmission. All-wheel-drive is optional on both the base and F Sport trim levels and is paired with a six-speed automatic.
The base AWD trim is technically the base model of the 2017 GS 350, but it is anything but basic. The interior has standard features like simulated leather upholstery, keyless ignition and entry, a sunroof, power-adjustable and heated front seats, driver-seat memory settings, and an automatic climate control system. Exterior features include LED headlights and heated, power-folding mirrors. If you are looking for leather upholstery, the rear-wheel-drive base model gets it as standard.
You're going to want to find the best mix of integrated technology on your 2017 GS 350. Standard features include a 12.3-inch display screen, Bluetooth® connectivity, a navigation system, voice controls, and a 12-speaker sound system. Various driver aids, such as blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert, also come standard.
For the 2017 model year, the F Sport package becomes an actual trim level. You'll get many standard features with the rear-wheel-drive version, including trim-specific 19-inch wheels, a sport-tuned adaptive variable suspension, and bigger front brakes. The interior and exterior also feature sporty upgrades specific to the F Sport trim. The AWD version is similar but doesn't feature the larger brakes.
If you want even more comfort and convenience, check out the optional Premium package. Optional on the base AWD and standard on the base RWD, it includes heated and ventilated front seats, automatic wipers, and a power rear sunshade. Meanwhile, the Luxury package (GS 350 RWD or GS 350 AWD) has upgrades like wood trim, upgraded power front seats, premium leather, heated rear seats, and three-zone climate control with rear-seat climate and audio controls.
