The 2023 Nissan Frontier midsize pickup tackles big loads with ease. The Frontier comes in two basic configurations – King Cab and Crew Cab, the latter with the option of a five-foot- or six-foot-long cargo bed. The Frontier's standard rear-wheel drive is great around town, and four-wheel drive (4x4) is available as an option. For even more impressively rugged capability, the top-spec Crew Cab Pro-4X models feature all-terrain tires, an electronic locking rear differential, Bilstein off-road shock absorbers, and a switch-operated two-speed transfer case 4x4 system with three drive modes. You'll have more confidence to tackle every eventual terrain.
There are four trims of the 2023 Nissan Frontier: S, SV, Pro-X, and Pro-4X. The Pro-4X is the plushest Frontier of all. It has the features of the Pro-X model including luxurious LED signature headlights, NissanConnect® nine-inch color touchscreen display, Android Auto™ and Apple CarPlay® integration, and dual-zone automatic climate control. On top of this, the Pro-4X adds unique Pro-4X-trimmed decals, floor mats, and seats. New for 2023 is an available Midnight Edition package that adds black exterior and interior details, perfect if you desire a pickup with a little extra style.
All versions of the 2023 Nissan Frontier are powered by a 3.8L, 24-valve V6 gasoline engine with 310 hp and 281 lb-ft of torque. This makes it more than capable of cruising the highway or venturing down off-road tracks — this flexibility is what makes this midsize pickup so practical.
