The 2020 Toyota Sequoia has one engine option: a 381-hp 5.7L V8 paired with a six-speed automatic transmission. Rear-wheel drive is standard on all but the TRD Pro trim; 4WD is an available option for all trims and standard on the TRD Pro. The 2020 Sequoia can go from zero to 60 mph in 7.23 seconds and has a top speed of 115 mph (according to the manufacturer, when new).

Two-wheel-drive models with the V8 engine get an EPA-estimated 15 mpg combined, while all-wheel-drive models get an EPA-estimated 14 mpg combined.

2008-2022 Toyota Sequoia (second generation)

The Toyota Sequoia's second generation has been running since 2008 and will continue through the 2022 model year. Since 2013, the Sequoia has offered one engine option: the 5.7L V8. In 2014, a touchscreen became standard in the Sequoia. After that there were no major changes until the 2018 model year, when Toyota's suite of driver-assistance features became standard, and the Sequoia was given an exterior refresh.
