The 2015 Toyota Sequoia is a large SUV and the big benefit of that is it can carry everything you and your family throw in it. With eight seats in three rows, there should be enough space to accommodate everyone. A sliding second row means passenger comfort is high on the agenda, and those in the third row have reclining seats, cup holders, and storage bins—as well as retractable sunshades on higher-trim models.
With up to 120 cu-ft of luggage space with the rear seats folded down, there isn't much a used 2015 Toyota Sequoia can't handle when you're packing for a road trip. And that practicality is made easier with a powered tailgate on Sequoia Limited and Sequoia Platinum trims. Split-folding rear seats—60/40 for the third row and 40/20/40 for the second—add extra convenience. Perfect for heading out into the wilderness on the weekend.
The 2015 Toyota Sequoia is rear-wheel drive, but the option of all-wheel drive makes it possible to venture beyond the highway and onto rougher terrain. The system includes a Torsen® limited-slip center differential for added security on slippery or uneven surfaces, turning an on-road sojourn into an off-road adventure. Top-trim Platinum models are fitted with electronically modulated air suspension for an adjustable ride height, too, making the 2015 Sequoia a smooth operator.
Powered by a 5.7L V8 engine, the Toyota Sequoia is a powerful performer. The 381 hp eight-cylinder engine has 401 lb-ft of torque, with the power put down to the road via a six-speed auto transmission. The standard 2WD car achieves an EPA-estimated 17 mpg on the highway, while an additional E85 flex-fuel version with the same engine helps the Sequoia receive an Ultra Low Emission Vehicle II (ULEV-II) rating.
The 2015 Toyota Sequoia is fully furnished to entertain. Entry-level SR5 models have Toyota's Entune™ AudioPlus entertainment system with a 6.1-inch display, Bluetooth® wireless technology, voice recognition, and hands-free phone operation. There is also an integrated backup camera, HD Radio™, and a USB port. Limited versions add navigation and apps via the Entune Premium Audio system, while Sequoia Platinum models feature JBL® speakers and an amplifier. To keep the little ones entertained on those longer trips, there's even a standard rear-seat Blu-ray Disc™ player.
