Cabin Noise
I was expecting the interior to be noisy, given that this is a truck with rugged truck tires on it. Surprisingly, it is quieter than my wife’s Outback
Seat Comfort
Reading reviews, people often complained about the front seats. I’m not a huge guy and I find the seats fairly comfortable, even on a long drive.

Second generation Tacoma’s are known for their reliability. That’s why I specifically sought out this particular model and year.

Ride and Handling
I was coming from a German High-end car, so I notice that the ride comfort and handling is not what I’ve become accustomed to. However, for a truck, it isn’t that bad.
Technology and Entertainment
The radio head-unit is fairly basic, but reliable. Finding pre-programmed Satellite radio stations is a bit of a hunt-and-peck compared to more modern displays.
Fuel Economy
The V-6 has plenty of power and is super reliable. The downside is that it only gets 18-21 mpg regardless of city or highway driving.
