PROS
Braking
Brakes are far superior to the competing Subaru Forester. They function smoothly without the Subaru's squeaking, scraping, warping, clunking or need for frequent replacement.
Cost to Maintain
Far superior to the competing Subaru Forester. Comparing them at the same odometer mileage, the CX-5 is experiencing far fewer maintenance issues (i.e. none).
Cabin Noise
Far superior to the competing Subaru Forester. Firmly attached body panels, quiet suspension components and properly manufactured brakes all contribute to a quieter cabin.
CONS
Fuel Economy
The 6 speed automatic Mazda CX-5 achieves 2-3 less MPG than a 5 speed manual Subaru Forester.
