mazda makes minutia matter

Pros

  • Ride and Handling: feels solid and secure
  • Technology and Entertainment: great features
  • Seat Comfort: Great long trips if you’re sitting for many hours

Cons

  • Visibility: this car has a pretty serious Blindspot, I have installed convex mirrors on both sides
  • Cargo Space: It’s not designed to be a cargo hauler, so with two people and all their stuff on a long trip it is totally full
  • Cabin Noise: It’s not too bad, but it’s not like some of those other cars where you can’t hear the road at all

Very good car. Not a great car.

Good gas mileage. Rear of car is easy to load. 4WD has saved my butt at least once. Like all current vehicles, however, it has too many computers, making home repair impossible.

Pros

  • Fuel Economy: Averaging about 30 mpg
  • Power: My power needs are pretty humble - my last car was a bottom of the line Honda fit. This car has significantly more pickup, and when climbing a mountain I am not short of power

Cons

  • Dashboard: Too many controls on the steering wheel. Cabin temp control where the radio controls should be.
