5 reasons to buy the 2014 Audi A8

1. Four engine options

The 2014 A8 has a great mix of available powertrains that are certain to meet your discerning needs. The base 333 horsepower supercharged V6 is pretty impressive, but if you want a bit more fuel economy check out the 240-hp turbodiesel V6 that gets an EPA-estimated 28 mpg combined city/highway.

Those with the need for speed might be more impressed by the other two optional engines, a turbo V8 making 420 horsepower and even a big 12-cylinder making an amazing 500 horsepower.

2. Impressive standard features

Check out the base 3.0T trim and you'll find a ton of great standard features. Exterior features include 19-inch wheels, adaptive xenon headlights, LED running lights, a sunroof, and adaptive air suspension. Moving to the inside, you'll find stylish aluminum and wood interior trim, heated 12-way adjustable front seats, a power rear sunshade, a power-operated trunk lid, and soft-close doors. From there the choices are almost unlimited as you browse through the options list.

3. Standard all-wheel-drive

The weather isn't always as cooperative as it could be, and your next big road trip might just be better with all-wheel drive. The 2014 A8's great engines are only made better by Audi's legendary rally-bred quattro all-wheel-drive system. It is standard on all trim levels of the 2014 Audi A8 sedan, so no matter which one you choose you can have the peace of mind of all-wheel drive riding along with you.

4. So many luxury options

The 2014 A8 is pretty impressive in standard form, but look for a long list of great optional extras and you'll be sure to find just the right version. Keep an eye out for the Warm Weather package and you'll find four-zone climate control plus a set of power rear side-window sunshades to keep your passengers cool. The Extended Leather package expands the leather upholstery across the armrests, the center console, and the center of the steering wheel. If you're looking to maximize luxury should look for the Premium package with features like 22-way power front seats with ventilation and pneumatic massage.

5. Power and sport

If you want to maximize power you can opt for the V8 or 12-cylinder engine options, you'll be impressed with the rapid acceleration in such a big car. However, there are other options for enthusiastic drivers, such as the Sport Plus package, to look for on our lots. That will give your 2014 A8 additional features including a sport-tuned air suspension, adaptive steering, and a rear limited-slip differential.
