Practical for people and things

The 2018 Dodge Grand Caravan is a great vehicle for family transportation with its roomy third-row and flexible cargo space. The Stow ‘n Go® seats are a standard feature in most trims and make it easy to transform the minivan from people seating to storage for carting around furniture, bikes, work equipment, or bulky items. With the V6 engine and when properly equipped, the 2018 Grand Caravan can tow up to an estimated 3,600 pounds. Various factors may impact towing capacity, including weight of passengers, cargo, and options/accessories.

5 reasons to buy the 2018 Dodge Grand Caravan

1. Fresh-looking and comfortable interior

There are simulated wood instrument panel inserts, wood door panel inserts, and chrome interior accents to look for in some trims. The GT trim has black interior accents, a driver information center, full leather seating, an eight-way power passenger seat, heated second-row seats, voice controls, and an upgraded nine-speaker audio system. The 2018 Dodge Caravan standard model also features heated front seats and rear air conditioning and heating systems. Comfortable seats make road trips a nonissue—other than traffic jams, of course.

2. A V6 engine to get you to soccer practice on time

The available 3.6L Pentastar® V6 engine delivers oomph when you need it, making highway cruising and merging a breeze. The 2018 Dodge Caravan is probably best for meeting your around-town needs and getting you where you need to be on time—even if the kids set you back a few minutes. The van is easy to handle and overall performance is decent—which is all you really need from a minivan.

3. Entertainment options

Minivan drivers are known for having people who need to be entertained in the backseats, particularly for road trips. The 2018 Dodge Grand Caravan basic trims have six speakers, a CD player, an MP3 player, and an LCD monitor in the front. That makes it easy for the kids in the back to hear their favorite hits or the latest Top 40 songs they’ve been singing nonstop.

4. Plenty of driver features

Power-operated sliding doors can be operated from the driver’s seat or open with a quick pull from the outside. You’ll feel good about driving your loved ones around in any weather condition. Plus the hill hold control feature is handy when you're parked on a steep slope. This minivan also has driveline traction control, electronic stability control, and features like curtain airbags for the first, second, and third rows. The GT trim features rear parking sensors, blind-spot monitoring, and rear cross-traffic alert.

5. Lots of space for people and things

The vehicle’s Stow 'n Go® seating can be found in all trims except the AVP model and allows all the second rows to fold flat into the floor with the pull of a lever. The third row can also be folded backward and stored in a cargo well. When all of the seats are up, you still have 33 cu-ft behind the third row. If all of the seats are stored away, you have 143.8 cu-ft.
