First generation Ford EcoSport
The EcoSport is available in four trim levels. Higher trims include features like a larger engine and all-wheel drive. The standard driveline includes a three-cylinder engine paired with a six-speed automatic transmission with front-wheel drive. A four-cylinder engine with a six-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive was the available upgrade.
Inside, the EcoSport leans into its dashboard technology, with most trim levels providing a 6.5-inch central touchscreen featuring wired Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ integration at the beginning of production. Base EcoSports came with a smaller 4.2-inch display screen that does not support full smartphone integration. Seating for five passengers in two rows, plus a functional rear cargo area, was standard.
The top EcoSport Titanium trim offers premium amenities, including leather upholstery and a Bang & Olufsen® audio system, as well as blind-spot monitoring and the larger engine with standard all-wheel drive. Buyers could also specify a Cold Weather package to get heated mirrors, a heated steering wheel, and a windshield wiper de-icer.
