Cabin room and cargo space

The Honda CR-V has been on the market since 2011 — and with good reason. It's a popular option if you love a small SUV with ample cabin room and cargo space. The 2024 Honda CR-V pairs well with a growing family (room for pets and kids!), those who navigate seasonal roads, and adventure seekers alike who need rear storage space for camping gear, kids' sports bags, or big grocery hauls. New for 2024 is the Sport-L trim that features leather upholstery, a wireless charging pad, a hybrid powertrain, and a power liftgate.

5 reasons to buy the 2024 Honda CR-V

1. Room for the extras

Although the 2024 Honda CR-V is a small SUV, the rear cargo space measures 39.3 cu-ft behind the backseats to easily accommodate large boxes from the home improvement store or Fido's kennel. The space is wide and tall, so you can easily bring home plants from the garden center too! Welcoming a little one into your life soon? The cargo space is valuable for singles and families toting around folding strollers and diaper bags.

2. Loaded with tech

On the front dashboard of the 2024 Honda CR-V, you'll find a seven-inch touchscreen system (standard on the LX, EX, and Sport) that offers wireless connectivity for both Apple CarPlay®  and Android Auto integrations so you can stream music, podcasts, and audiobooks from your cellphone. If you want voice-controlled features, a hands-free liftgate, and a 12-speaker Bose® sound system, you'll need to choose the Sport Touring trim. A larger nine-inch touchscreen is available to those driving the EX-L and Sport Touring trims.

3. Six trim options

When Honda released the 2024 CR-V, they introduced three gas-fueled trims and three hybrid trims. The LX, EX, and EX-L options run off turbocharged, 1.5L 190-hp four-cylinder engines. For those looking for a green option, the Sport, Sport-L, and Sport Touring trims come with 2.0L 204-hp four-cylinder engines and battery packs. All trims come standard with front-wheel drive, and an optional upgrade to all-wheel drive, except the Sport Touring trim that features all-wheel drive standard.

4. Helpful driver-assist features

All six trims feature a rearview camera and a handful of driving features. If you log highway miles often, the adaptive cruise control will help you maintain a proper distance between you and other drivers. There's also a lane-keeping assistance option to steer the car back into its lane if you drift over the lines. And, all drivers benefit from the forward collision warning that automatically applies the brakes and alerts you of a potential accident.

5. Ability to tow

Whether you need to haul a compact utility trailer with work supplies, a small pop-up camper, or a trailered jet ski, the 2024 Honda CR-V can get the job done. The LX, EX, and EX-L trims can tow an estimated 1,500 lbs when properly equipped.

The hybrid trims (Sport, Sport-L, Sport Touring) can tow an estimated 1,000 lbs when properly equipped.
Maybe now is the time to finally invest in those kayaks or a small aluminum canoe for summer fun with the 2024 Honda CR-V.
