5 reasons to buy the 2022 Kia K5

1. Distinctly good looking

Yes, looks are subjective but the 2022 Kia K5 midsize sedan has quite the curb appeal. The sleek design of this Kia will look great at the valet stand or out on the town with friends. The base LX trim looks really good, but if you want to ramp things up you can check out the GT LINE or the top-spec GT to add a bit more aggressiveness and an enhanced cool factor. Your neighbors will notice.

2. Tech powerhouse

Not only is wireless Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto smartphone connectivity standard, but there's also plenty more to like about the 2022 K5. The standard infotainment system has an eight-inch touchscreen, but you can opt for a larger 10.25-inch unit if you'd prefer. There's also available wireless charging and even a nifty heads-up display to help you keep track of everything while you keep your eyes on the road. Those looking for the latest technology will not be disappointed by the 2022 K5.

3. Power under the hood too

The base engine for the LX, EX, and GT-LINE trim levels is a 180-horsepower turbocharged 1.6L four-cylinder, which is a pretty good place to start. Combined with an eight-speed transmission, it will make quick work of any highway merge or driving situation. However, the K5 has a fiercer side in the form of the K5 GT. It gets an upgraded 2.5L engine, making a stout 290 horsepower and 311 lb-ft of torque, complemented by a sport-tuned suspension!

4. It's also comfy

Despite all that power, the K5 can be a docile highway cruiser, perfect for that long weekend trip or just running errands around town. The midsize Kia comfortably seats five and has a generous 35.2 inches of rear legroom. If you're looking to add a little luxury, you can opt for black or brown synthetic leather as well (on EX and GT trims).

5. Options for everyone

Another great thing about the 2022 Kia K5 is that there is something for everyone. While the base LX model is full of great features, the LXS adds cool stuff like proximity keyless entry, push-button start, and available remote start.

You can even enjoy remote monitoring, with sophisticated controls via your smartphone. The comfort-focused EX delivers a panoramic sunroof, heated and ventilated front seats, and more. And this only scratches the surface of all the different versions of the 2022 K5 that could be yours.
