The 5.0L engine now produces 472 horsepower and 395 lb-ft of torque, providing you with ample power on the road or the race circuit. The RC F comes with a track-tuned suspension to ensure plenty of grip at the track but it still remains a comfortable daily driver. The 2020 RC F is offered with luxe features you would expect from a Lexus coupe, such as a heated steering wheel, plenty of driver aids, and an impressive 17-speaker Mark Levinson® sound system.
1. Track enhancements on every RC F
The 2020 RC F excels as a performance machine. The track-tuned suspension includes lightweight aluminum components and added rigidity to deliver great handling on every RC F. It also offers a speed-activated rear wing to provide additional downforce at higher speeds. These enhancements will help you access the 2020 RC F’s potential performance.
You will not be wanting for power given the power-to-weight ratio of the RC F. Improved for the 2020 model year, the 5.0L, eight-cylinder engine now produces 472 horsepower and 395 lb-ft of torque. This engine is paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission with paddle shifters, giving you full control of the power on tap.
For the 2020 model year, the Lexus RC F is offered with a new Track Edition. This edition combines additional lightweight materials, such as a carbon fiber roof and hood, with additional tuning and other aerodynamic additions to create the most track-focused edition of the 2020 RC F. With launch control, Lexus says you should be capable of accelerating from zero to 60 mph in under four seconds.
The RC F is available with a number of features to ensure your performance machine also excels at being a daily driver. The Premium Package offers features such as heated and ventilated front seats, a heated steering wheel, a leather-trimmed interior, and a power tilt-and-telescoping steering column. Other available features include premium audio and in-dash navigation.
It is important to keep your needs as the driver front-and-center, and the RC F is designed to do so with its interior design. The instrumentation provides everything you need to know as the driver, from G-force readings to launch control status. The cabin also offers Apple CarPlay connectivity to easily access your favorite streaming platforms or navigation apps.
