The most popular vehicle in the Lexus lineup, the 2024 RX 350h is a comfortable tech-filled mid-size SUV that makes an excellent daily driver. The smartly configured and classy design of the interior make for a comfortable drive to work or across the country. The bold and stylish exterior is head-turning, while the standard hybrid drivetrain lets you drive on past those gas pumps. With ingenious storage solutions, useful driver assistance features, and a supremely quiet ride, the Lexus RX 350h might be your perfect ride.
The 2014 Lexus RX 350h has a standard hybrid drivetrain. There is a 2.5L four-cylinder under the hood and an electric motor on the rear axle. They work together to provide solid acceleration and passing power, good for a zero to 60 time of 7.4 seconds when new and charged up. It also wins at the gas pumps, with an EPA-estimated 36 mpg combined. From urban congestion to highway power, the RX 350h engine makes an ideal commuter.
Lexus calls it a spindle body, rather than just a spindle grille. It looks athletic and sophisticated. The new bigger grille is seamless for a clean look, while the swept headlights and bulging hood line overtly suggest speed. At the back, a single tail lens wraps around the rear. Garnish with 19-inch or 21-inch wheels, and a range of beautiful colors and you have a vehicle with dramatic curb appeal.
Simply riding in the Lexus RX 350h will probably convince you to get one. The extremely quiet cabin is possible thanks to a suspension design that absorbs bumps in the road and actively cancels out unwanted road noise. Pillowy seats feel like a home recliner, with available heating and ventilation for increased comfort. The rear seats offer a standard recline feature, and the tri-zone climate control ensures everyone is at the right temp. The RX 350h is so quiet at speed, you will easily hear your passengers praising the comfortable ride.
With seating for up to five adults, the RX 350h has brilliant storage solutions so everyone can bring their stuff. The hybrid battery is located beneath the rear seats, so it doesn’t take up any of the 29.6 cu-ft of cargo room behind the second row. The central storage console can open on the left and right side for the driver and front passenger. A cubby ahead of the center console has Qi-compatible wireless charging, so there’s no need to fumble with messy cables. The RX 350h can haul everything from golf clubs to camping gear with ease.
Select the base trim for a standard 9.8-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™. A 12-speaker sound system and eight-way power heated seats are the headliners here. Moving up to Premium trim you get a power sunroof, heated and ventilated front seats, and wireless phone charging. Premium+ gets a huge 14-inch touchscreen, leather-trimmed interior, and thematic ambient lighting. Finally, Luxury has all of the above, plus semi-aniline (light dye so you can see the fine grain and details) leather upholstery, 21-inch alloy wheels, and a heads-up display.
