Fresh design, still a winner
Entirely new for the 2023 model year, the Lexus RX 350h proves why a luxury midsize SUV might be the ideal vehicle. With redesigned sheet metal outside and a posh and pampering interior, the RX 350h is a hybrid that is lovely to drive or ride in. The suspension is still legendarily comfortable, but the new design adds additional road handling confidence. New tech includes massive screens, available wireless charging, a choice of lovely sound systems, and intelligent driver assistance.

5 reasons to buy the 2023 Lexus RX 350h
1. Standard hybrid
The “h” in the name RX 350h means it is exclusively a hybrid model. Under the hood is a 2.5L four-cylinder paired with a battery and electric motor for a solid 246 horsepower and 233 lb-ft of torque. That makes the RX 350h powerful enough for a zero to 60 time of 7.4 seconds when new. Skip the gas station if you’re running late for work, as the 2023 Lexus RX 350h has an EPA-estimated 36 mpg combined. Push the EV Mode button, and you can silently glide into the garage without waking anyone.
2. Generous standard features
Even the base RX 350h is designed to impress with standard features like 19-inch alloy wheels, a power liftgate, ambient interior lighting, and tri-zone climate control. The standard 9.8-inch touchscreen has Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™, plus a 12-speaker sound system. The heated eight-way power front seats let you find your perfect fit, and the memory feature ensures you don’t lose it.
3. Another standard: AWD
The 2013 Lexus RX 350h features the E-Four all-wheel-drive system for improved grip when cornering and on slippery road conditions. The E-Four system primarily drives the front wheels, but when needed, a rear-axle-mounted electric motor instantly applies power to the rear wheels for improved traction and driver confidence. It’s a clever design that doesn’t require a driveshaft, a fact rear passengers will notice due to the lack of a bump in the middle of the floor.
4. Luxury trim level
Turning the luxury knob all the way up, this trim packs all the best standard features across all the RX 350h models. Look for 21-inch alloy wheels, suede interior door trim, premium perforated leather upholstery, a 10-inch heads-up display, a 14-inch infotainment screen, and 10-way power-adjustable seats with power-adjustable lumbar support. This impressive list can be expanded with optional features like upgraded LED headlights, a power panoramic sunroof, and a digital key system that turns your smartphone into your key.2
5. Helpful driver assistance
The driver-assist features standard in the Lexus RX 350h help enhance your awareness with cameras and radar. Standard automatic braking with pedestrian detection is just what you need in heavy-traffic urban centers. The standard proactive driving assist can see the vehicle (or bicycle) in front of you and adjust the brakes and steering to help keep your distance. While it can’t drive you to work on its own, the RX 350h wants to assist with your daily driving tasks.
